The Rood End Community Association has the following aims:
a)
To work for the benefit of the residents of Sandwell, and in particular those who live in Rood End Neighbourhood.
b)
To bring together residents, businesses, the local authority, voluntary and statutory organisations, and to work together:
to advance education
to improve social welfare
to provide facilities for recreation and leisure
to improve living conditions and the environment.
c)
To establish, maintain and manage a community centre for use by local residents and other groups.
d)
To promote equal opportunity, and to work towards the elimination of all forms of racism and discrimination, striving for good relations amongst all members of the community.
